  [10] TrustGauge Score 1 2
# 14 How can some sites be ranked higher than others if they don't provide their information?

One of the factors used to determine a websites trust score is traffic ranking.

For example, site A has a ranking of 16 but does not provide any information.

Site B has a ranking of 41,115 but provides all their information. Because site A has such a high ranking they automatically receive a trust score of at least 7. Because site B has such a low rank they only receive a trust score of 1 to 2.

One way for site B to boost their trust score is to increase the popularity of their site. Another way is to get VALIDATED using ValidatedSite.com, if they do this they will receive a trust score of at least 7.

# 30 Can I combine the stats for two domains that are virtually the saem website?

TrustGauge.com bases its information on unique website *domains* that are visited by surfers. Some surfers visit one site while others visit the other site. These two sites are two distinct records in the TrustGauge.com database. At this point there is no way for us to combine both of them into one.

In addition, we allow seals to be displayed on websites for TrustGauge and our other services.  It would be a breach of security if we allowed one domain's seal to be placed on a different domain.  For this reason, we must keep all domains separate.
